I’ve spent over 30 years building businesses from the ground up, starting with nothing and turning ideas into something real.
Most of that time was in the arts and crafts world, where I grew a multimillion dollar company, taught thousands of people, and built a community around creativity. I’ve created products, run subscription boxes, hosted retreats, and published books, all by following ideas that made sense to me, not what I was told I “should” do.
When I retired, I thought that chapter was done.
But I’ve never been someone who can just sit still.
At one point, I started a small Facebook group around snail mail clubs.
It was casual. Just a place for people to share ideas.
Honestly, I almost shut it down but people kept showing up.
They were asking questions, sharing what they were working on, and trying to figure out how to make their own snail mail clubs successful.
And that’s when it clicked, it wasn’t really about snail mail clubs
It was about people wanting to build something of their own and not knowing how to market it.
WHAT I REALIZED
I didn’t want to start another snail mail club myself.
I wanted to help other people grow theirs.
To show them how to take an idea and turn it into something people actually want.
How to get subscribers without constantly posting.
How to build something that feels good and makes money.
Because most people don’t have a problem with their product.
